Vertical centrifugal pumps constructed from
PP, PVDF, AISI. 316 steel and with internal parts in polypropylene, PVDF, Ryton. Practical and handy, they allow discontinuous service and they are ideal for transfering non-abrasive and non-viscous
chemical products contained in
drums and barrels. Compatibly with the chemical resistance of the construction materials, TR pumps are in fact appropriate for use with liquids free of abrasive suspended solids, at ambient temperature with a specific gravity up to 1.8 and viscosity up to 14 cps. They are instead not appropriate for flammable liquids and/or for use in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres.
Characteristics- Length: up to 1200 mm
- Dip tube: Ø 42 mm (PP), Ø 40 mm (PVDF) and Ø 42.5 (AISI 316).
- Maximum temperature: PP: 50°C -PVDF/AISI 316: 85°C
- Maximum flow rate: 80 l/min
- Motor: Single-phase electric 500 W - 220 V.
- Materials: PTFE bushings, HASTELLOY C shaft (PP/PVDF) or AISI 316 steel shaft, internal parts made of PP/PTFE, PVDF/PTFE or PTFE RYTON.
Warnings for useDo not grasp the electric motor or actuate its switchgear with wet or greasy hands or gloves. Ensure that the pavement on which operators work is dry. Before each use verify that the electrical socket conforms with the motor characteristics, that the power cord and plug are in good condition; with the pump unplugged, ensure that the motor slide switch and its lock functions in the on position.
The pump is indicated for intermittent service and not for extended use.
Under normal operating conditions the maximum noise produced by the pump is 88.7 dB(A) surveyed according to EN Standards 50144. The operator must use ear protection.
After use, it's recommended that the pump be washed (by pumping water for a few minutes): certain liquids in fact can crystallize, form depots or interact negatively, over time, with the pump's constructive materials. During periods of inactivity, the pump should be placed in a protected environment, in a vertical position and suspended with the motor on top to prevent deformations of the support column and the shaft and the flow of liquid towards the motor.
